Fugan Memorial Park (Fugui Cemetery Park)

Geography and Feng Shui

The Fugan Memorial Park is located in Taoyuan District, northwest Taiwan. The memorial park is split into zones, each plot of land featuring different tombstone designs whilst representing different cardinal directions.

The Fugan Cemetery is shaped like a dragon reclining on a pillow. Surrounded by water from all directions and intertwined with plains, it embodies the essence of "green fields stretching for tens of thousands of acres, blessing the posterity with riches and good fortune." The water, abundant and vibrant, bringing in wealth from different sources, creating a landscape that is both serene and prosperous. The dragon's immersion in water signifies profusion, ensuring the offspring's prosperity and warding off myriad disasters. This locale is truly a precious feng shui site, where "the sky is clear, the earth is spiritually vibrant, and prosperity graces the people."

This is auspicious in Chinese feng shui as water represents vitality and wealth being passed on from generation to generation. The connection and concentration of water also symbolize people being connected through prayer and common beliefs.
